TFG Impact Wrestling Review: Delete or Decay fallout, Grand Championship tournament and more

After breaking the internet with Delete or Decay last week, TNA was back this week with the latest edition of Impact Wrestling.

Fallout of Delete or Decay

For the Hardys, this week was all about rebuilding. First, Jeff Hardy was healed off his wounds and reincarnated as The Nefarious Nero. Matt then went on to find Senor Benjamin tied up in a barn and complete the recovery process. But the story is far from over. Matt Hardy declared war against Decay and the two parties brawled during the show. A showdown at Bound of Glory for the TNA Tag Team championships is in the plans apparently. It is bound to be an exciting match and more interestingly, if Hardys win, their reign will be worth tuning into.

Grand Championship tournament continued

The Grand Championship was introduced last week on Impact and the tournament to crown the new champion continued this week. The debuting Aron Rex secured a solid win against Trevor Lee after a pin fall in the second round. Eddie Edwards on the other hand, defeated Mahabali Shera via Submission in the third round of their match to progress. The fans are still getting comfortable with the rules of these matches but they seem to have huge storytelling potential going forward.

Huge Brawl to end the show

Moose and Bobby Lashley was featured in the final segment of the show and they were involved in an all-out brawl. Mike Bennett later came to the aid of Lashley when he took out Moose. However, just when Moose was outnumbered, Ethan Carter III came to the rescue and despite efforts from Lashley and Bennett; it was EC III that stood tall when the show went off air.
