Impact Wrestling: Alberto El Patron returns To draw new battle lines

THE 2017 EDITION OF Bound for Glory saw the return of Alberto El Patron. The Mexican interfered in the main event title match between Eli Drake and Johnny Impact.

Thanks to Alberto, Eli Drake was able to keep the gold around his waist but both Drake and Impact seemed equally threatened by the returning Alberto.

Alberto’s intentions are clear: shake up the entire Impact Wrestling main event scene and he even hinted at the same during the conference call before the pay-per-view.

He had especially pointed out how he would love to take out reigning champion Eli Drake.

 “The first one, and the one that I want to happen as soon as possible, is Eli Drake. I want to kick his ass. I want to erase that smile from his face because I don’t even know why he is so happy.” He said.

He then went on to state his long-term plan as well and it involves a certain Bobby Lashley.

“After I kick Eli Drake’s trasero, I want to have a rematch with Bobby Lashley.” He added.

The fallout of Alberto’s return would be one of the main attractions of the upcoming Impact Wrestling episodes.
