The Week in IMPACT history: Magnus and Samoa Joe retains the Tag Team titles

IMPACT Wrestling is making strides all over the world as we are set to visit many towns, states, and countries throughout this year. At the end of this month, IMPACT Wrestling will be making its way to Mumbai, India to visit fans and execute the most thrilling action for your entertainment.

Magnus recently made his return to Impact Wrestling

If we think back to what happened during this week in 2012, IMPACT Wrestling was in the United States in the state of California. There, fans were able to witness an unforgettable match featuring Samoa Joe, Magnus, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian.

We watched as Magnus and Samoa Joe retained the World Tag Team Titles against Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Magnus and Samoa Joe together held the Tag Team Titles for 91 days before they ended their reign.

Just a few weeks ago, Magnus made a big return to IMPACT Wrestling when he teamed up with Alberto El Patron, Matt Morgan, and Chris Adonis to represent Team JB.

Furthermore, it was Magnus that got the win for the team when he jumped off of the top rope with his signature diving elbow drop and pinned Bram of Team GOAT.

But lately, we’ve seen a different side of Magnus. He now believes that because he is the current GFW Global Championship that he has a “golden ticket” in IMPACT. Next week we will see Magnus defend his GFW Global Championship against Alberto El Patron. But will Magnus make an appearance this week? Watch IMPACT Wrestling to find out!
