Indian Aces: Nadal, Radwanska along with Sania & Rohan bring depth to defending champs

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS INDIAN ACES might have let go Roger Federer, but will be delighted to have the services of Rafael Nadal for the upcoming edition of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL). Meanwhile, Gael Monfils will continue to add some cushioning to the singles and doubles event.

The Aces have also roped in Agnieszka Radwanska in place of Ana Ivanovic for the women’s singles and mixed doubles. Meanwhile, doubles specialists, Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna have been retained by the Aces and Ivan Dodig too, will feature in the doubles segment. In the legends category, Fabrice Santoro will take court to exude some of his old-school, tricky shots.

The Indian Aces have plenty of depth and variety in their squad and seem to have covered all their bases well. Moreover, Grand Slam champions in singles, doubles and mixed doubles will further make the Aces a formidable team in the competition.

In a unique format like this, experience will be invaluable to any side and Mirza, Bopanna, Santoro and Monfils will certainly bring in wealth of experience from playing in the inaugural edition.
