Mumbai FC sign three new players in Mohanraj, Nandy and Clifford

MUMBAI FC rope in three new players into the yellow and blue outfit including veteran left-back Nallappan Mohanraj on loan from ISL team Atletico de Kolkata, goalkeeper Sandip Nandy and left winger Clifford Miranda.

The men in yellow and blue have had a roller coaster ride in the league so far as they have failed to claim an away victory after beating the likes of Salgaocar FC and Bengaluru FC at home. The club was also in talks with Raju Yumnam but have finally absorbed the former Mohun Bagan and Bharat FC defender.

Mohanraj was seen at his first practice session on Monday morning. Nandy played for Kerala Blasters franchise in the second edition of ISL.

Nandy had received the best goalkeeper of the tournament award ten years back. The five-time I-League (formerly called NFL) winner earned the title for four different teams - Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Mahindra United and Churchill Brothers.

On the other hand, Miranda was part of Dempo for 15 years in a row, the left-winger will now be part of a Mumbai side for the first time in his career.

Despite having a good start to the season, Mumbai has been finding it difficult to win the away matches which has affected their standings in the points table.
