Indian MMA: Five Things you should know about UFC’s first Indian-born fighter Bharat Kandare

It’s official. Bharat Kandare is set to be the first Indian-born fighter to step foot into the UFC Octagon.
Currently fighting out of Superhuman Gym, Bharat will be making his UFC debut at the UFC event in Shanghai this November and it is hands down a milestone event for the sport in India. The Mumbai-based fighter will be fighting Pingyuan Liu (12-4) at the event and the fight was advertised by UFC on their official website last day.
