Bharat Khandare becomes the first Indian-born Fighter to sign with UFC, will debut at Shanghai

BHARAT KHANDARE has become the first Indian-born fighter to sign with the UFC.  Khandare, who was on the Brave Combat Federation roster, was announced for the UFC event.

Bharat signs with UFC 

The Bantamweight fighter will go up against Pingyuan Liu (12-4) at UFC Fight Night: Shanghai on November 25th. UFC had announced the fight last night on their website and today, Bharat's gym, SuperHuman Gym also sent out an official announcement today morning. 

"It is a dream for every fighter in the world to get an opportunity like this to compete at UFC”.  his manager Somesh Kamra noted. 

Khandare is coming off a loss against Ahmed Faress at Brave 5 in India and was on a five-fight winning streak before this.  Earlier, Arjan Singh Bhullar had become the first fighter of Indian origin to fight at the UFC.
