Bless me, my captain: Crazy fan invades the field to touch Dhoni’s feet
THE MOMENT cricket fans in Mumbai realised that MS Dhoni will be captaining any Indian team for the last time, fanatics across the city rushed to the Cricket Club of India (CCI) to witness the first practice match between India-A and the visiting England ODI team.
After a wait of almost two hours, the icon- “Captain Cool” walked out to the centre to one of the most rousing receptions ever seen on the cricket field.
Just as Dhoni started to entertain a packed house at the Brabourne Stadium, a fanatic invaded the field and ran all the way to greet his hero. In fact, the fan also managed to touch Dhoni’s feat, upon which he was dragged off the field by the security guards.
