HIGHLIGHTS: Asalanka keeps Lanka's 'Asha' alive in Asia Cup with last ball win vs Pakistan

SRI LANKA HAVE entered the final of Asia Cup, where they will face off against India on Sunday. And they did so in unforgettable style.

Facing Pakistan in the virtual semi-final, they were chasing a target of 252 in 42 overs at the rain-infested game. The situation looked dire with 2 balls left, with 6 runs still needed to get the win.

On strike was set batsman Charith Asalanka. He nicked the first ball and it went through the gap of the first slip and the keeper, all the way for four. Then in the last ball he perfectly picked a gap towards mid wicket, playing it lightly enough to give them time to run to the winning score.

With the game starting late and then experiencing rain interruption later again, it wasn't sure that the match would reach a conclusion at all. But the fans who patiently stayed up till late night were treated to a thriller they'll talk about for a long time.
