Asian Games: India men & women's cricket teams to be coached by VVS Laxman & Hrishikesh Kanitkar
THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAMS going to the Asian Games will be coached by two national team veterans.
VVS Laxman will be in charge of the men's team while Hrishikesh Kanitkar will helm the women's team in the continental medal event.
The men's team will send a second string squad due to the Asian Games partly clashing with the ICC Cricket World Cup. The women's team however will field a full strength side.
Laxman espcially has emerged as one of the top coaches in the country, heading operations at the National Cricket Academy.
