Mark my words, Kohli will soon score 400 in a Test match: Kapil Dev
INDIA GREAT KAPIL DEV has showered praises on Virat Kohli and has openly stated that he is anticipating a 400 from the India Test skipper. The 1983 World Cup-winning captain believes Kohli has what it takes to score 400 runs in a Test match.
As reported by India Today, Kapil asserted,
"Mark my words. Virat Kohli will make 400 plus in a Test match. Remember I said this first."
Last week, the India maestro struck a brilliant double ton against West Indies in the Antigua Test.
Comparing Kohli to the ‘Master Blaster’, Kapil further said that the former is lucky to not face a mental block like that of the iconic batsman.
"At his age, Sachin Tendulkar was more talented. But then he had that mental block. He would get to a hundred and then get into a rut."
Recently, former Aussie speedster Brett Lee had also lauded the in-form batsman, and termed him as the ‘current best batsman’.
