Kohli's ability to play different formats without compromising on technique is commendable, says Tendulkar

ICONIC SACHIN TENDULKAR regards India Test skipper Virat Kohli to be a ‘special talent’ and believes that his immense discipline and commitment towards the game is unrivalled.

In an interview with Dubai’s ‘Gulf news’, the ‘master-blaster’ said,

"Virat (Kohli) presents the straight bat and scores with good cricketing shots. He is a special talent and he works hard on his game. His discipline and commitment has to be emulated. He visualises different formats without ever compromising on his technique. In addition, he is very strong mentally and thrives in pressure situations."

Kohli has been in a prolific run-scoring form in the ongoing IPL. The RCB skipper has scored four centuries and has racked a record 919-runs.

Many cricket pundits have lately drawn comparisons between Sachin and Virat, witnessing the 27-year-old's stellar form.

However, the star batsman has admitted that he is embarrassed by such comparisons.
