Kohli recommends Daniel Vettori’s name to BCCI for India’s coaching role
INDIAN TEST SKIPPER VIRAT KOHLI has requested Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to consider former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori for the position of India’s national coach.
The Kiwi veteran is currently the head coach of RCB and Big Bash League’s team Brisbane Heat. The 37-year-old had announced retirement from international cricket last year, after New Zealand’s loss against Australia in the final of ICC World Cup 2015.
However, sources have said that there was no confirmation yet on the same from the BCCI.
