Manish Pandey replaces Yuvraj Singh for ICC World T20
MANISH PANDAY HAS REPLACED YUVRAJ SINGH in India's squad for the ongoing World T20, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed.
Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of the remaining part of the tournament after the southpaw twisted his ankle against Australia in the last league game of Group 2 at Mohali.
An injured player can be replaced by another player after all the required medical documents are submitted by the medical practitioner to the Event Technical Committee.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Panday recently made a name for himself, scoring a match-winning hundred at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the fifth ODI.
India will take on the West Indies in the second semi-final at the Wankhede stadium tomorrow.
