Indo-Pak cricket fans showing support for each other's country on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg posts

THE INDIA-PAKISTAN rivalry on the cricket field has always been an intense one, especially in limited overs. Right throughout the history, neither team gave an inch to the other and were fiercely competitive.

Tension was always evident on both sides of the border, and neither team wanted to lose. People in both countries leave everything aside and focus on the game during an Indo-Pak match.

Both nations have had a bitter past and have fought several wars against each other. There's always that animosity between people of both countries, which has refused to die down, but there's been a surprising surge of late. People from both countries are showing support for each other's cricket teams on the social media platform, Facebook.

Fans from each country are using a profile frame to show support for the other team. Indian fans are using their profile pics, showing support for the Pakistan cricket team and vice versa. This has been a huge phenomena of late to support the "Profile for peace" campaign.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has taken to his social media platform and posted about the same, describing how the initiative has created peace and harmony amongst people on both sides.

Something pretty interesting is happening in India and Pakistan on Facebook right now. Last week marked the beginning...
