Legends Imran and Akram to advice Pakistan before marquee India clash

AFTER A DISASTROUS Asia Cup outing, Pakistan are now  in desperate need for motivation and it seems their former captains Imran Khan and Wasim Akram have been asked to meet the team in Kolkata before their marquee clash against arch-rivals India on March 19.

The request apparently came from their captain Shahid Afridi, who was advised by both men that the team should play aggressive cricket.

As reported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Khan received a telephone call from Afridi and the two discussed the game strategy before the former captain wished the national team all the best.

Khan also advised the team to avoid a defensive approach and play aggressively. He further added that the team must not get pressurised from the Indian crowd.

Afridi also said that he tweeted to Akram about having a word with him on the game plan. The two former captains are expected to meet the Pakistan side in Kolkata to boost the morale of the team before the crucial encounter against the hosts.
