Kohli plays with authority in all three formats; he is the best in the world: Akram

FORMER PAKISTAN CAPTAIN Wasim Akram feels Virat Kohli is currently the best batsman in the world.

As reported by The Express Tribune Akram said,

“Kohli is the best batsman in the world. There comes a time in a batsman’s life, where you learn how to score runs. He plays with authority in all three formats. It’s difficult to bowl at him. I would have found it very difficult to bowl at him."

Kohli has been in excellent form this year, scoring two hundreds and two fifties in five ODIs in Australia and three fifties in all three T20Is against the same opponents. 

Ever since he made his debut, Kohli has been piling on the runs in all three formats consistently and is one of the top batsmen the opposition looks to target.

His tally of 36 hundreds and 61 fifties gives him an impressive combined average of 49.38 in the three formats of the game.
