Kohli disagrees with Gambhir, says Dhoni is the best finisher in the world

INDIAN CRICKETER GAUTAM GAMBHIR came out yesterday by saying that his Delhi team-mate Virat Kohli was the best finisher in the Indian team. However, India’s vice-captain Kohli today disagreed with the southpaw and said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the "best finisher in the world".

As reported by PTI, Kohli speaking about Dhoni and the Asia Cup final said,

"He is the best finisher in the world. All in all, it was a wonderful game."

Dhoni has definitely won India a lot of games chasing in recent years, but lately, it's been Kohli who has been building up the momentum of the innings and has also ensured that he has been there in the middle, finishing the innings. He's been instrumental in India's chases in the last four years.

Ironically, Kohli's first ODI hundred came against Sri Lanka at Kolkata in 2009 in which he formed a partnership of 224 with Gambhir, chasing down 316, giving India a seven-wicket win.
