Bhupathi/Bhambri to face Sanam/Saketh in the men’s doubles final at ATP Delhi challengers

MAHESH BHUPATHI AND YUKI BHAMBRI have stormed into the finals of the doubles event at ATP Delhi challengers after beating the pair of Jimmy Wang and Ze Zhang 6-1, 6-3 today. 

Wang/Zhang couldn’t get make the most of their service games and ended up winning only 35% of their first service points. Meanwhile, the Indian duo had little problems holding their own and won 76% of their first serve points. 

Although the local favourites’ serve was under the gun and got broke twice in the match, Bhupathi/Bhambri too responded by breaking their opponents’ serve on six occasions. 

In another semi-final clash fourth seeds, Sanam Singh/Saketh Myneni beat the top seeds Divij Sharan/Flavio Cipolla 6-3, 6-3. 

Sharan/Cipolla too struggled on their serve, but the Indian pairing had absolutely no trouble winning games on their serve.

The top seeds also converted 75% of their break points and nailed the match inside an hour to progress into the finals. 
Sanam/Saketh will face Bhupathi/Bhambri in the men’s doubles finals.
