NOVAC DJOKOVIC HAS reached the semi-finals of a Grand Slam tournament for a record 47th time.
The Serbian ace beat Fritz in the quarter-final match in straight sets by 6-1, 6-4, 6-4, lodging his name in the history books in the process.
He has already won 23 grand slam singles titles, including 3 triumphs in the US Open. He may be well on his way to add one more to the list.
He will be facing Ben Shelton in the semi-final.
