Mumbai T20 league postponed to 2016; to be played if window available

THE T20 LEAGUE planned by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will not be held this year too.

It was scheduled to be played at the end of 2015, but will now be held next year only, Dilip Vengsarkar, vice president of MCA told The Times of India.

He said they need a 10-day window to conduct the league and it can be organised only if they get those dates. He told the newspaper that the league would have been great for local talent as they would have got the necessary exposure required to attract IPL franchises, apart from the money they would have earned.
