UP T20 League: Noida Super Kings emerge as early favourites with massive win vs Gorakhpur

NOIDA SUPER KINGS PUT on an impeccable bowling performance to register a massive 43 run win over Gorakhpur Lions in UP T20 League.

Aditya Sharma's unbeaten 70 off 43 balls was the backbone for Noida's 182/5 total batting first. But it was the collective bowling effort from them that ensured the large victory margin that gave them a firm head start at the top of the table.

What began with some tight bowling from Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (0/26) became an unescapable trap as Gorakhpur lost 5 wickets within the first 10 overs while scoring at a run rate of less than 4. Nitish Rana (2/9) and Saurabh Kumar (1/12) made sure that no batter other than Yashovardhan Singh (43 off 32) and Shivam Sharma (57 not out off 31) was able to make a stand. And the run chase ended at 139/7.

Noida Super Kings are the only team in UP T20 to have 4 points from 2 matches, and their Net Run Rate is a whopping +1.475; a head and shoulders above the rest.
