BYE KARNATAKA: Karun Nair to play for Vidarbha; Shreyas Gopal moves to Kerala

THE KARNATAKA STATE TEAM is also facing an issue with talent exodus, like Delhi.

The team has been quite successful in the national level recently, winning multiple trophies including the Ranji Trophy. Two players who were a part of that effort throughout were Karun Nair and Shreyas Gopal.

But now Karun is bound for Vidharva and Shreyas is joining the Kerala team. Both players asked for, and received, the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Karnataka State Cricket Association.

Vidharva has emerged as one of the teams to most benefit from players from other states moving in. Kerala, too, seem to be strengthening their team this season and players coming in from other states will play a key role in that.
