Navratri may cause India vs Pakistan World Cup clash to be pre-poned

THE MEGA CLASH between India and Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 may be pre-poned by a day.

As of now, the match is scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on 15th October. But according to several reports, due to the match also being the first day of the Navratri festival, the police feel it may be too much pressure on them to handle security in the city as well as the high profile match that's already attracting a record amount of interest from fans across the nation.

If the match is indeed re-scheduled, ICC may have to move around multiple matches to accommodate the change. However, it's not something that has been confirmed so far.
