India A face Pakistan A in Emerging Teams Asia Cup final, beating Sri Lanka in semis

INDIAN BOWLERS WON the day once again as India A dispatched Bangladesh A in the semi-finals of ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

With this win they have set up a rematch with Pakistan A at the final tomorrow; whom they have soundly beaten already in the group stage.

The young Indian squad struggled batting first, not getting past 211. Other than Yadh Shull (66 off 85) no one could put on a remarkable performance against the likes of Rakubul Hasan (2/36) and Mahedi Hasan (2/39).

But when Bangladesh A came out to chase what seemed like a very manageable total, they faced carnage personified by Nishant Sindhu (5/20) and Manav Suthar (3/32). Tanzid Hasan (51 off 56) did put up a brave fight but the middle and lower order collapsed like a house of cards. From 123/3 at one point, Bangladesh A were all out for just 160.

The final match begins Sunday, 2 pm Indian Standard Time.
