Chris Lynn eyes IPL after being forced to withdraw from PSL 2018

AUSSIE STAR BATSMAN Chris Lynn has once again damaged his already wobbly shoulder. After his valiant diving effort in the finals of the T20 tri-series in Auckland yesterday, Lynn has been ruled out of the 2018 PSL.

Furthermore, the hard-hitting batsman now finds himself in a race against time for the Indian Premier League. Lynn, who has been retained by Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming edition, has also been billed as many as their skipper.

But be that as it may, currently, it looks a tough road ahead for Lynn ahead of the IPL.

As reported by AFP, the Aussie team physio, Alex Kountouris said,

"His shoulder was able to be put back into place at the ground and he was consequently sent for X-rays which revealed no major bone injury. At this stage Chris will not travel to the Pakistan Super League in Dubai."

The PSL starts tonight, and although Lynn feels devasted to miss the action in Dubai, he is hopeful to be fully fit for KKR come April.

"I'm disappointed to not go to the Pakistan Super League as planned, but I'll now focus on rehabilitation and working as hard as I can, with the hope to still take part in the Indian Premier League later this year."
