Yuvraj has overcome every hurdle of his life with a never-say-die attitude, says Tendulkar

YUVRAJ SINGH earned his 300th ODI cap and joined the league of elite Indian cricketers as the men in blue played Bangladesh in the second semi-finals of Champions Trophy 2017. Upon Yuvraj's milestone, iconic Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the southpaw as he posted a nostalgic picture on Instagram.

The ‘Master Blaster’ captioned the image saying that the one word that personifies ‘Yuvi’ is ‘resilience’. Tendulkar also lauded his journey to the 300th game, which was filled with many hurdles.

 

If there's one word that personifies @yuvisofficial, it's resilience and he embodies this spirit like nobody else. His return to the team after numerous challenges is legendary, still makes me feel emotional about the many hurdles he has faced to get to the 300th match of his life. His career has been replete with ups and downs, but Yuvi has always addressed each stage of his life with his signature 'never say die attitude' and complete poise. I am sure he will bring more laurels to India with his abilities to take the game away from the opposition.

Yuvraj will be a part of the side that will face arch-rivals Pakistan in the finals of CT17 at the Oval on June 18.
