Kohli’s men are fulfilling all my dreams, says Gavaskar 

INDIA GREAT Sunil Gavaskar has revealed that watching skipper Virat Kohli and his men achieve such success in one season feels like a dream come true. 

Gavaskar has saved many Tests and has also won many games over the years but winning one Test after the other has remained an unfulfilled wish. Speaking at Xolo SporTale, a sport-themed literary festival, the ‘little master’ said,

“What Kohli and his boys have done is amazing. Such a run of Test wins is amazing. They are fulfilling my dreams and I am happy to get the chance to witness them from the other side.” 

The legendary opener also said that it was only when Virender Sehwag began playing for the country he could see the explosive batsman hitting the ball the way he always wanted to but could not. 

“I always wanted to hit straight six on the first ball of a Test match. I could do that only once, but Sehwag did that with regularity. He was a class batsman with guts in his batting.”
