Irfan Pathan vows to hit back after the IPL snub

IRFAN PATHAN was one of the famous names to go unsold during the IPL 2017 player auction, held in Bengaluru on February 20.

Although one might expect Pathan to be heartbroken after not attracting any bid from the think-tanks of the eight franchises, the 32-year-old all-rounder took to his twitter account to express his determination and shared his emotions with the fans.

Pathan, who was placed at a base price of Rs. 2 lakhs, divulged about the challenges he has faced and mentioned about the comeback he has made in his career. The Gujarat veteran, who had picked five wickets in four games at an economy rate of 6.29 in the recently-concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, promised to fight back and not give up on his career.
