YORKER GONE WRONG: Slinga-Malinga's 'Monkey' remark at Minister could prove costly

SRI LANKAN Hero Lasith Malinga might face big time trouble after calling one of the Sri Lankan ministers a 'Monkey'. 

As reported by AFPnews agency, the Malinga jibe was directed at the Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara. 

Jayasekara has earlier questioned the Lankan players' fitness after their inability to make the semis of the recently concluded Champions Trophy. 

This remark irked the pacer and soon Malinga hit back. 

As per AFP, Malinga told a TV network,

"I don't care about criticism from those who are simply warming chairs. What does a monkey know about a parrot's nesting hollow? This is like a monkey getting into a parrot's nest and talking about it."

It now remains to be seen what action the Lankan board might be forced to take against Malinga.
