Glad you haven’t been watching my videos :Dravid tells Pant and Samson

DELHI DAREDEVILS batsmen Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson combined a brilliant effort to help their side chase Gujarat Lions’ mammoth 208 total. The duo formed a 143-run partnership in 63 balls to eventually script the second highest successful run chase in IPL history.

DD mentor Rahul Dravid showered praise on the duo for their magnificent performance. In an interaction with IPLT20.com, the India great praised Pant for his approach and reckoned that the 19-year-old will remain unbeaten en-route to finishing games in the future.

“What I found impressive in Rishabh’s batting is that he was not worried about his hundred. He was always looking to take the team home. But I am a hard taskmaster and I hope next time you will finish the job and stay not out. Incredible innings from the two boys and truly well deserved.”

The legendary batsman also joked that he was glad that the duo hadn’t been watching his videos.

“Glad that you haven’t been watching videos of me batting. I am glad that you have not been watching too many videos of me batting when you need 208 in 20 overs. Well done boys, terrific innings.”
