Delhi Capitals will face Mumbai Indians in the 69th match of the Indian Premier League 2022, to be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 21st May, 7:30 pm onwards.
This season, Delhi Capitals have played 13 matches, won 7 and lost 6. They are on the 5th position on the points table. DC have had a mixed bag of playing well in some matches and performing poorly in others. To keep themselves alive in this tournament this is a crunch game for them. Winning can keep their hopes of qualification intact or they will have say goodbye to IPL 2022.
On the other hand Mumbai Indians have played 13 matches, won 3 and lost 10. They are on the 10th position on the table. Playing extremely poor cricket with clueless bowling attack and an inability to pick up wickets, MI have been in quite a bit of soup this season.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will also be looking at this match very keenly because if Mumbai win, then Bangalore will have a hope of qualifying for the playoffs. But if Mumbai lose, it will end RCB's hopes.
