Ganguly, Ponting join forces in Delhi Capitals' new team-building project

DELHI CAPITALS ARE already hard at work, building the team for the next IPL season.

And in this months-long project, they're being helmed by two former captains who were the best in the world in their days.

Sourav Ganguly and Ricky Ponting, the Indian and Australian skippers who had a long rivalry between them that spanned across multiple bilateral series and high-stakes ICC tournaments, are joining forces in this new endeavour; Delhi Capitals owner Parth Jindal revealed.

The 2023 season didn't go well for DC as they ended 9th in the points table, avoiding the bottom spot by 2 points.

That's a big drop in performance, considering they made it to the playoffs for 3 years straight from 2019 to 2021 and missed out on a place in the playoffs by a whisker in 2022.

The DC management, and its fanbase, will be hoping that these two great cricketing minds who brought so much success to their national teams will be able to do the same to their favourite IPL team.
