Couldn’t have asked for more, it’s a dream come true, says Kuldeep Yadav

INDIA CHINAMAN BOWLER Kuldeep Yadav, who sunk Australia’s hopes of piling a huge total in the first innings of the four Test at Dharamshala, has acknowledged that it a dream come true for him.

The debutant’s four for 68 included the key wicket of David Warner who combined a 134-run partnership with Steve Smith. As reported by IANS, the Kanpur lad divulged,

"I am very happy. It is a dream come true for me. In a Test match you can't ask for more than this. Initially I was nervous when I was standing at fine leg in the first over. But then it felt normal for me. I have improved my fitness levels, which helped me with my bowling."

When asked about the nature of the pitch, the 22-year-old replied,

"The wicket was good to bat on, the ball was not turning much. There was a little bit of help for the spinners. I bowled just wicket to wicket and variations."

Apart from dismissing Warner, Kuldeep bowled out Handscomb and Maxwell with his unconventional spin. Speaking about the variations in his bowling, Kuldeep added,

"Obviously I worked a lot on my variations be it the wrong one, flipper and the normal chinaman. For Handscomb I set up the plan. I showed him the wrong one first, and then bowled him with the chinaman."
