Olympic Silver medalist Sindhu to be conferred with Padma Bhushan

PV SINDHU is set to receive the Padma Bhushan, third highest civilian honour as the list of names were announced on Wednesday.

Sindhu had a great run in 2016, winning Olympic Silver and backing it with her first Superseries Premier title in China. She also had a great run in the Premier Badminton League losing just one match. Currently she is playing at the Syed Modi International tournament and seeded No. 1 she is eyeing her first title of 2017.

Sindhu has won the Padma Shri in 2015.
