Lakshya Sen is Canada Open champion

IN A THRILLER, India’s Lakshya Sen overcame China's Li Shi Feng of China 21-18, 22-20 in the final of Canada Open 2023 to win his second BWF World Tour title.

In the first game, Sen led throughout and closed it at 21-18. The second game was not so straightforward, as Li bossed over Lakshya and had four game points at 16-20. However, the Indian, who is ranked world number 19, carved a sensational win by taking six consiscutive points to clinch the title.

Lakshya had won his first title at the India Open in 2022.
