Taking most of the corners and some free kicks whenever Joffre would not be involved, Richarlyson was instrumental in FC Goa's midfield collaborating both in attacking and defensive duties. The Brazilian started on eleven occasions for the Fatorda-based franchise managing to score one and assist in a couple of goals.

The hard-working medio made some hard challenges at the most crucial times to prevent FC Goa from conceding a few more goals. Richarlyson shifted from being a defensive midfielder to a left midfield on different games and excelled in both positions adding to his versatility.
