Durand Cup 2023 HIGHLIGHTS: FC Goa send Shillong Lajong packing

SHILLONG LAJONG WERE effectively knocked out of Durand Cup, when they were played out of the park by FC Goa in their second group stage match.

In a 6-0 victory, the Gaurs dominated the newly promoted I-League side, which fielded a side mostly featuring local players.

Rowllin Borges got the goals going 15 minutes in, before former Morocco international Noah Wail scored a hat-trick to seal the tie.

Victor Rodriguez and Carlos Martinez also got on the scoresheet in the second half.

Lajong have conceded 10 goals in their 2 matches in the Durand Cup so far, and scored none.

FC Goa are at the top of the table with their first win, and may seal their place in the quarter finals if they get a win over NorthEast United on Saturday.
