Prannoy retires hurt mid-way from his first round match at Macau GPG
SHUTTLER HS PRANNOY had to retire from his match mid-way because of a back injury that did not allow him to continue at the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold.
The seventh seed was up against Chun-Wei Chen of Chinese Taipei and during the match after few shots being player, Prannoy struggled to continue and finally gave in.
He was down 2-6 while he retired hurt. He later took to social media to explain what he went through. He also stated that he hopes to return soon.
