I am better now and I feel my game is back, says HS Prannoy

INDIAN SHUTTLER HS PRANNOY who missed out on quite a few tournaments this year due to injuries is all set to make his comeback at the $120,000 Indonesia Masters Grand Prix Gold which will get underway from September 6-11 at Balikpapan.

Nagging injuries kept Prannoy out of the Rio Games well, but the 24-year-old is all pumped up to begin at a tournament where he had tasted success.

As reported by PTI, Prannoy said,

"I am better now. I am feeling my game is back. I went to play in Canada and US after recovering from the foot injury. But then I had some issues with my back.”

"I had won the Indonesia Masters in 2014 so it is one of the sweet memories. I want to get back to the same position and hope it happens in the coming months. I'm playing Japan and Korea and then after a gap of 2 weeks will play at Denmark and France. I really want to win a Super Series.”

Although a few years back, Prannoy won the trophy in Indonesia, it will be interesting to see how he goes about his business. Regardless of the outcome, we will also know more on his match fitness.
