READ: Friend Dan's letter to foe Lee Chong Wei

BADMINTON has produced two great friendships as well as rivalry. Legends Lin Dan of China and Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia may be rivals on court but they are also best friends off the court.

Lee Chong Wei defeated Lin Dan for the first time in semi-finals of Rio Olympics. Before Lee could play his final against Chen Long, Dan wrote him a letter thanking him acknowledging the fellow shuttler.
