Iconic Tendulkar to present Silver medallist Sindhu a BMW car in Hyderabad
SHUTTLER PV SINDHU has won a billion hearts along with her Silver medal at the Rio Olympics. After her success in Brazil, she has been receiving rewards from various organisations and government.
Not one to be left out, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar too will get the opportunity to congratulate Sindhu. He will present the 21-year-old with a BMW car from a friend on 28th August.
Sachin did something similar four years ago when Saina won her Bronze medal at the London Olympics.
The car is being sponsored by his friend and former cricketer V Chamundeswaranath.
"Tendulkar will visit Hyderabad on August 28 to gift the car to Sindhu. We will decide on the schedule and venue for the event shortly," said Chamudeswaranath, the President of Hyderabad Badminton Association of India.
