READ: Statement from Saina's coach Vimal Kumar after her exit from Rio
YESTERDAY was a sad for all Indian badminton fans as the top shuttler Saina Nehwal crashed out the Rio Olympics. She was one of the medal prospects, everyone expected her to repeat her 2012 London Olympics feat.
She went onto the court struggling from a knee injury. She did put up a fight, came close in beating Maria Ulitina but failed to do so. After her loss, her coach Vimal Kumar released a statement.
