Touchdown Rio: Indian shuttlers reach Rio, all set for their showdown
THE INDIAN BADMINTON PLAYERS have reached the Olympic destination, Rio. Some of the shuttlers shared pictures on social media and stated that they had a long ride.
They all look set for their campaign to begin on the 11th. India has sent their maximum number of badminton contingent this year, seven in total. And for the first time there will be representation in the men's doubles category.
Out of the seven shuttlers, the most experienced Saina Nehwal holds the best chance of a medal prospect.
