HS Prannoy set to miss the Thomas Cup action due to injury but promises to lend his support
YET ANOTHER SET-BACK for the men's singles shuttlers in India. HS Prannoy won't be playing at the Thomas Cup due to an injury. He confirmed the news via a tweet through his official twitter account.

The toe injury that kept him out of action last year has hit him once again. He further added that though he is missing out on the action he will very well support the boys.
India's top shuttler Kidambi Srikanth will also miss the event as he taking some break off the courts. Parupalli Kashyap too is nursing an injury and is expected to return to courts only in July.
Missing out on the tournament might cost these shuttlers some valuable ranking points. Now the major responsibility falls on Ajay Jayaram who is the senior most shuttler in the team.
