An elated Manu Attri took to social media to express his joy after confirming a spot in Rio

AN ECSTATIC MEN'S DOUBLES PLAYER MANU ATTRI took to his Facebook account to share his emotions after he and his partner Sumeeth Reddy qualified for Rio Olympics.

The qualifying period for Olympics came to an end on 1st May. Including the men's doubles pair, there are seven shuttlers who will be seen at the prestigious stage.

By confirming a spot in Rio, Attri/Reddy have created history as the first pair in the men's doubles category to represent India at the Olympics.
