Rising Pune Supergiants' skipper Dhoni delighted to have match-winner KP in the squad

CONTROVERSIAL ENGLAND BATMAN KEVIN PIETERSEN might not be playing international cricket currently but the maverick and mercurial Pietersen is certainly one of the most entertaining cricketers going around. Pietersen has been in sublime touch lately and has enjoyed playing in several T20 leagues across the world. 

Pietersen was roped in by the new IPL team Rising Pune Supergiants for USD514,500 and the 35 year old is sure to make an impact in the cash-rich tournament. Leading the team will be MS Dhoni who is known to support such destructive players. 

The Pune skipper has once again expressed his delight in having this match winning batsman in his squad. As reported by PTI, Dhoni said, 

“As I said, KP is a fantastic player, someone who is very aggressive and at the same time very expressive on the field. It is good to have him in the side.” 

The Englishman has been accused of being a distraction in the dressing room before and has even been reprimanded for his disciplinary issues, but Dhoni was only showering praises on the immensely talented batter. 

"Again, you know people are often judged by what comes in the media, but when you actually meet them they are totally different. I don't think there will be any issue with discipline.” 

Pietersen has already established a strong fan following in Indi after his previous stint in the IPL.
