RAJKOT ALL-ROUNDER Ravindra Jadeja said it will be a big challenge to bowl against his former CSK captain MS Dhoni, especially in the limited overs format.
"It's a big challenge to bowl against Dhoni, particularly in shorter version of the game, as Dhoni has proved himself as a best finisher of the game, but I will do my level best to perform well," said Jadeja to PTI.
After playing for four years together at Chennai the two players were picked by different franchises in the first player draft auction held at Mumbai on December 15.
The former Rajasthan Royals and Kochi Tuskers Kerala-player said it will be altogether another feeling for his hometown Rajkot in the ninth edition of the IPL.
"It's a different kind of feeling which cannot be expressed while playing for home team and I hope that I would be doing well in the IPL," he said.
"I have been selected in the Rajkot team as a good player and there is a chance for me to go further if I could play good cricket in coming IPL season," Jadeja concluded.
The ninth edition of the IPL commences on April 9 at Mumbai with the final on May 29 at the same venue.
