Yashasvi Jaiswal wants to build a foundation to help talented youngsters

YASHASVI JAISWAL HAS some ideas that can help talented youngsters find their way in the world of cricket.

The 21 year old Mumbai-based batsman, who plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, has recently gotten a long awaited national team call-up. It's a dream come true for him, and he wants to share it with others.

Speaking to Indian Express, Jaiswal revealed his idea,

"I have plans for a foundation which could support kids like me, who train hard and want to play the sport. The foundation will help youngsters and provide a platform for them... a lot of times youngsters might have the talent, but they don’t know how to go about building their career, there’s no guidance about where to play, how to train, how to take care of their bodies. I was lucky that I got Mumbai Cricket Association which educated me on how to develop my game, my skills and my fitness."

Thanks to his training at MCA, Jaiswal has played 15 first class matches so far, scoring two centuries and nine fifties along the way. His consistency is what has helped him emerge as a national team prospect.

If he shares his path to success with others, it's likely going to help Indian cricket unearth talent that would otherwise go undiscovered.
