Arjun Tendulkar among 20 youngsters called up to NCA camp

ARJUN TENDULKAR IS AMONG the 20 youngsters who have been called up to the National Cricket Academy camp.

The left arm medium bowler who has been turning out for Mumbai Indians in the IPL since 2021 is also the son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. At 23, this is expected to be a major opportunity for him to prove himself worthy of breaking into international cricket.

The NCA camp is aimed at developing all-rounders for the national team, and cosnsists of talented players who have made their mark for their state teams. Headed by VVS Laxman, the camp is expected to provide many players for the Indian team that will take part in the upcoming U-23 Emerging Asia Cup.

Other notable names in the camp include Chetan Sakariya, Abhishek Sharma, Mohit Redkar, Manav Suthar, Harshit Rana and Divij Mehra.
